يعنى هذا البحث بدراسة اساليب تصميم اللوحة الحروفية عن طريق توظيف الوسائط الرقمية، ان لاختراع الكتابة وظهور الحرف الاول في تاريخ البشرية بمدينة الوركاء التاريخية يعد من اهم الانجازات الحضارية والمعرفية للحضارة السومرية والتي مرت بمراحل وصور متعددة الى ان وصلت اليه من الكتابة بحروف الخط العربي الذي يعد من اجمل خطوط العالم واصعبها اتقاناً واكثرها تنوعاً، ونتيجة للتطورات الرقمية في ميادين الحياة وفي الخط العربي بصورة خاصة استخدم الخطاطون والمصممون البرامج الرقمية المتعددة في تصميم واخراج اللوحة الحروفية الرقمية لما تتمتع به حروف الخط العربي من خصائص جمالية ورمزية وتعبيرية في انشائها واستلهام حروف الخط العربي برؤية معاصرة ومواكبة الحداثة والخروج من السياقات التقليدية وابتكار اساليب حديثة ومتعددة، وحدد الباحث مشكلة بحثه بالتساؤل الاتي: ما اساليب تصميم اللوحة الحروفية عن طريق توظيف الوسائط الرقمية ؟، للمدة من (2000 - 2023م ) في العراق، والامارات، اما الفصل الثاني فاشتمل على الاطار النظري حيث تناول المبحث الاول اساليب تصميم اللوحة الحروفية الرقمية، واما المبحث الثاني فتضمن العناصر والاسس التصميمية للوحة الحروفية الرقمية، ثم تلتها مؤشرات الاطار النظري، وتضمن الفصل الثالث على اجراءات البحث إذ اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي (تحليل المحتوى)، اما الفصل الرابع فتضمن تحليل العينات، وعرض النتائج والاستنتاجات، والتوصيات والمقترحات.
