Authenticity and the problem of acculturation in contemporary visual formation between the styles of painting art "Analytical study"

Authenticity in art represents innovation and renewal that arise from the freedom of choice, guided by a sincere and pure artistic sensibility and a conscious awareness of everything within the artist’s perceptual reach. Through this process, artists introduce new styles and developmental transformations that reinforce authenticity. At the same time, artistic innovation may also emerge from cultural interaction among artistic styles, where some influences produce positive effects, while others result in negative, alienating impacts that undermine identity and authenticity.
The present study addresses the topic of authenticity and the problem of artistic acculturation among conflicting artistic styles in the achievements of painting. The study is structured as follows:
First: The research problem, its significance, and its objective are presented, focus on identifying the characteristics of authenticity in the styles of modern European painting and examining the issue of artistic acculturation among them.
Second: Chapter Two includes two sections:
- The first section discusses authenticity and inauthenticity in art.
- The second section examines the problem of positive artistic acculturation and negative artistic acculturation.
Third: Chapter Three includes the following:
- Survey of the research population.
- Presentation of the research samples.
- Definition of the research methodology.
- Preparation of the research instrument.
- Presentation of the steps of analysis.
- Analytical presentation of the research samples representing the following styles: Impressionism, Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, and Futurism.
Finally, the study presents the results and conclusions, followed by a list of references
