في ظل التطورات المتسارعة في المجال الطبي وزيادة التركيز على تحسين تجربة المرضى أثناء تلقي الرعاية، برزت الحاجة إلى تصميم معدات طبية تتناسب مع احتياجات جميع الفئات. من بين هذه المعدات، تأتي أسرة الفحص الطبي للأوزان الثقيلة التي تعتبر جزءًا أساسيًا من توفير بيئة فحص آمنة ومريحة للمرضى الذين يعانون من الوزن الزائد. نظرًا لما يتطلبه هذا النوع من الأسرة من تقنيات خاصة لدعم الأوزان الثقيلة وأصبح من الضروري دراسة مدى توافق هذه الأسرة مع متطلبات المعرفة الاستخدامية لكل من المرضى والفريق الطبي على حدٍ سواء. احتوى الإطار النظري على مبحثين، كان المبحث الاول بعنوان: ماهية المعرفة الاستخدامية في اسرة الفحص الطبي. بينما تحدد المبحث الثاني في: مدى الملائمة التصميمية لأسرة الفحص الطبي. وتوصل البحث إلى اهم النتائج وامتازت النماذج بالتقنية في الاداء الوظيفي والجمالي واحتواء المنتج على خصائص ومستويات اداء متطور واتاح للمتلقي بالقبول والرضا وتحقيق الهدف في استخدام النماذج، وكانت اهم الاستنتاجات هي: اعتماد التقنية في الاسرة الطبية للفحص المتطورة التصميم على استخدامها وظيفياً وبسهولة وتقنية بالأداء الحركي والثابت واخذ الراحة والامان في اداء الوظيفة واستجابة الاستخدام ضمن نوع تلك الوظيفة بشكل جيد جداً.
