يتناول البحث دراسة القيم التعبيرية للأقمشة والازياء في سينوغرافيا العرض المسرحي بوصفها احد العناصر المهمة في العرض المسرحي ذلك لأنها تشغل حيزاً مادياً فوق خشبة المسرح وفي الوقت نفسه تسهم في إيصال المعنى العام من خلال القيم التي تتمثل فيها يقع البحث في أربعة محاور يتضمن الفصل الأول مشكلة البحث التي تبلورت في السؤال الاتي (هل استطاع مصمم الاقمشة والازياء في المسرح ان يحقق فعلا فنياً وحضوراً جمالياً من خلال تداخل علاقات الاقمشة و الأزياء مع باقي عناصر ومكونات السينوغرافيا) فضلاً عن أهمية البحث واهداف البحث وهي التعرف على القيم التعبيرية وتصاميم الاقمشة والازياء ودورها في سينوغرافيا العرض المسرحي وتحديد المصطلحات.
وفي الفصل الثاني (الإطار النظري) فقد تضمن مبحثين المبحث الأول القيم التعبيرية في تصاميم الاقمشة والازياء أما المبحث الثاني مفهوم السينوغرافيا اما الفصل الثالث وهو إجراءات البحث ومجتمع البحث وعينة البحث وظهرت النتائج التي تم مناقشتها بالفصل الرابع ومن خلالها تم الوصول الى الاستنتاجات وتقديم توصيات التي تراها الباحثة كفيلة بتطوير مهمة أداء عناصر الاقمشة والازياء في سينوغرافيا العرض المسرحي
