تناول هذا البحث دراسة تَمثُلات الواقعية السحرية لاعمال الفنانة عفيفة لعيبي وفرناندو بوتيرو، وقد جاءت الدراسة على اربع فصول، تمثل الفصل الأول الإطار العام للبحث والمتضمن مشكلة البحث التي مثلت الطريق للإجابة عن التساؤلات التي طرحتها الباحثة والتي جاء منها: كيف تمثلت الواقعية السحرية في اعمال الفنانة عفيفة لعيبي وفرناندو بوتيرو؟، كما تكمن أهمية البحث في التعريف بمنهج الواقعية السحرية في حقل التشكيل، أما هدف هذه الدراسة فتمثلت في الكشف عن تمثلات الواقعية السحرية في أعمال الفنانة عفيفة لعيبي وفرناندو بوتيرو، وقد ضم الإطار النظري مبحثين: الأول: مفهوم الواقعية السحرية في الحقل التشكيلي، والثاني فقد تمثل بموضوعين الأول فرناندو بوتيرو التجربة والأسلوب، إما الموضوع الثاني عفيفة لعيبي التجربة والأسلوب.
وكذلك تحليل عينات بواقع عينتان للفنانان، وبعد عملية التحليل أستعرضت الباحثة النتائج والاستنتاجات والتوصيات وقائمة المصادر .
