تكمن التكنولوجيا المساعدة في تصميم أثاث مبتكر ومتعدد الاستخدام لفئة الحجاج، والذين يعدون من الفئات الخاصة بالمفهوم الحديث ؛ لتهيئة جو تصميمي مريح، يسهل أداء مناسك الحج عالي الجودة، وظهرت مشكلة البحث في التساؤل المهم : هل التكنولوجيا المساعدة تساعد في تحقيق الجوانب الوظيفية والجمالية في تصميم أثاث الحجاج ؟ وهدف البحث إلى تصميم أثاث مبتكر متعدد الاستخدام باستخدام التكنولوجيا المساعدة لفئة حجاج بيت الله الحرام في مساكن الحجاج في مكة المكرمة تماشياً مع رؤية 2030 للملكة العربية السعودية، وجاءت الأهمية في تصميم أثاث مبتكر متعدد الاستخدام باستخدام التكنولوجيا المساعدة لفئة حجاج بيت الله الحرام في مساكن الحجاج لتعزيز الراحة المعنوية والجسدية، كما اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي في تحليل نتائج البحث المتمثل في تحليل نتائج البحث من خلال جمع البيانات، وعرض التصاميم المبتكرة من أجل تحقيق الهدف من الدراسة، ولقد أسفرت النتائج عن إيجابية التصميم المقترح ومساهمته في تلبية احتياجات الحاج، أما التوصيات فقد جاءت بأهمية عمل دراسات في مجال التصميم الداخلي لإسكان الحجاج بما يتوافق مع تحقيق رؤية 2030 للملكة العربية السعودية
