  1. Plastic arts, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, and graphics.
  2. Design, including the fields of print design, industrial design, textile design, and interior design.
  3. Arabic calligraphy and decoration
  4. Art education
  5. Musical arts
  6. Theatrical arts, including the fields of acting, directing, literature and criticism.
  7. Cinema and television
  • The editorial board is supervised by an editor-in-chief, managing editor, And members of the editorial board. The editorial board is a panel of experts with diverse expertise who contribute to the development of long-term plans for academic publication in general, And Al-Academy Journal in specific.

Aims and Scope

  • The journal deals with academic research related to aesthetic subjects, which includes the fields of plastic arts, music, theater, cinema, design arts, calligraphy, and decoration, as well as theoretical and applied research in the field of art education.

  • The journal is archived at the National Library in Baghdad on No. 238 of 1976

Publishing Schedule

Al-Academy Journal has been publishing Six issues per year since 2025. The exact schedule of publication for each issue is as follows:

6. December

-The possibility of publishing a special issue of the scientific conferences held in the college or its counterparts.

The journal uses an electronic plagiarism detection system (Turnitin) for all papers submitted for publication.
